Lena Reimann is a Research Fellow at the Water and Development Research Group (WDRG) of the Department of Built Environment at Aalto University.

She was previously a postdoctoral researcher at the department of Water and Climate Risk of the Institute for Environmental Studies (IVM) at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam, The Netherlands. In 2021, she completed her PhD at the Coastal Risks and Sea-Level Rise research group of the Department of Geography at Kiel University, Germany.

Lena's research focusses on spatially characterizing exposure and vulnerability to climate-related hazards under current and future climatic and socioeconomic conditions at continental (i.e. Mediterranean) to global scale.
