She is a physical oceanographer with expertise in coastal processes. I’m currently on a Marie-Skłodowska-Curie Fellowship, collaborating with Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and the University of Central Florida. She did her bachelor’s in Marine Science, master’s in Coastal and Ports Engineering, and Ph.D. in Physics. Initially, her research focused on coastal erosion and its consequences in the tourism industry in the Mediterranean. Later, she shifted to larger scales studies centered on long-term tidal modulations on extreme sea levels, future changes in flooding risk, and non-stationary spatial patterns of extreme surges.
