She is a physical oceanographer with expertise in coastal processes. She's an Assistant Professor at the University of South Florida.

She did her bachelor’s in Marine Science, master’s in Coastal and Ports Engineering, and Ph.D. in Physics.

Her research focuses on coastal erosion, water level variations, and any other hazard that might impact the coastal communities. Her research includes from local to larger scales studies centered on long-term tidal modulations on extreme sea levels, future changes in flooding risk, and non-stationary spatial patterns of extreme surges.
