This scientific poster highlights MedECC’s role in delivering science-based regional information and its functioning in developing assessment reports, more specifically the Summary for Policymakers of the MedECC Special Report “Climate and Environmental Coastal Risks in the Mediterranean”. The poster highlights the findings on the drivers of climate and environmental change in Mediterranean coastal zones, the resulting risks and impacts, and results of the assessement of current responses—focusing on environmental solutions, adaptation strategies, and climate change mitigation. The poster was showcased at the One Ocean Science Congress 2025 under the theme “Vibrant Science to Inform and Support Ocean Action”, during the session “Inclusive Science-Policy-Society Interfaces”.
