Alberto Sanz-Cobena has been accredited as Full Professor since January 2022. His research activity is focused on developing an integrated vision of a complex problem, such as the quantification and mitigation of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and reactive nitrogen (N) compounds in Mediterranean agri-food systems. He has published more than 60 contributions in JCR journals, with a h-index of 26.
He is an active member of international initiatives related to his field of work, such as "The Global Research Alliance on Agricultural Greenhouse Gases" and the global initiatives INMS, IPCC (as a reviewer), and MedECC (as an author). He also serves as the Coordinator of the Scientific Network for the Mitigation of Greenhouse Gases (REMEDIA).
