Audrey Brouillet completed her PhD in 2020, focusing on the evolution of temperature and heat stress extremes throughout the 21st century at the Laboratoire des Sciences du Climat et de l'Environnement (LSCE/IPSL, France). Since then, she have been a postdoctoral researcher at the Institut de Recherche pour le Développement (IRD/ESPACE-DEV, France), studying future cross-sectoral climate-related impacts. Her research was funded by the AMMA-2050 and HABITABLE international projects and mostly focused on vulnerable regions in Africa, and on impact sectors including agriculture (crop yields, livestock) and climate extremes (heatwaves, heavy rainfall, droughts).

Since 2025, she works as a postdoctoral researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impacts Research (PIK, Germany) on investigating how different climate-related extremes, impacts and events may be attributable to human-induced global warming. She is funded by the ClimaKid project that aims to derive multiple climate attribution datasets and apply health impact assessment methods to characterise climate change impacts on child health in West Africa, East Africa and South Asia.
