Dr Mario V Balzan is a Senior Lecturer at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology (MCAST) and Managing Director at Ecostack Innovations. He is an applied ecologist with a multidisciplinary background in environmental sciences. Through his work, he seeks to improve the understanding of human impacts on biodiversity and the contributions of biodiversity and ecosystem services to human well-being.
