Dr. Levent Kuzu is the Director of the Climate Change Regional Activity Centre (CC/RAC) and a Professor in the Department of Environmental Engineering at Istanbul Technical University (İTÜ). He holds a PhD in Environmental Engineering. He is specialized in atmospheric pollution and regional climate modeling. Throughout his academic career, he served as a long-time faculty member at Yıldız Technical University before joining İTÜ. His expertise focuses on understanding atmospheric dynamics and developing strategies for regional climate resilience. Now leading CC/RAC under the UNEP/MAP framework, he coordinates regional efforts to address the pressing environmental and climate challenges facing the Mediterranean basin.
