Dario Camuffo holds a Degree in Physics (1966) with expertise in atmospheric physics, climate change, early instrumental and proxy series, and the microclimate and conservation of cultural heritage. Formerly a Research Director at CNR until 2008, he is now serving as a Senior Associate. He lectures on Environmental Physics at the University of Padua and the Polytechnic of Milano, and is a member of the European Committee for Standardization. He has coordinated 16 international projects on climate change and the impact of the environment on cultural heritage. With over 400 publications, 3 patents, approximately 10,000 citations, and an H-index of 50 (Google Scholar), he is a distinguished contributor to his field.
