We hope that you and your dear ones are healthy and safe. We are happy to share with you the present newsletter. We are also very proud of the fact that the Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the 1st MedECC Assessment Report (MAR1) has been discussed and adopted during the MedECC Plenary Consultation held on 22 September 2020 (details here below). The complete report is being finalized.

The Mediterranean: scientific expertise for decision-makers, international conference, 16-18 November 2020, Marseille, France
The conference, coorganised by MISTRALS, Plan Bleu and MedECC, will cover a broad range of topics, including : evolution of the Mediterranean climate in the 21st century and its impacts on the environment, extreme events, water resources management and amplification of droughts, links between pollution and health, fluxes of contaminants from water, air and soil into living organisms, proliferation of invasive species on land and at sea and loss of biodiversity.

The revised Summary for Policymakers (SPM) of the First Mediterranean Assessment Report (MAR1) was the object of the plenary consultation with policymakers, governments, decision-makers and stakeholders, which took place on 22 September 2020 (in Marseille, France and online).
